Constant pressure Calculator

The term “constant pressure” refers to a condition or situation where the pressure of a system remains unchanged or does not vary with respect to time. Constant pressure is often used to describe specific types of processes, particularly in relation to the specific heat capacities of gases.

  • cp is the specific heat capacity at constant pressure,
  • γ (gamma) is the ratio of specific heats or the adiabatic index of the gas
  • R is the specific gas constant for the particular gas.
